Seven sales advisers, including two part-time agents from JN Life Insurance, have qualified for the coveted Million Dollar Roundtable (MDRT), the premier worldwide association of financial and insurance professionals.
The team of Jacqueline James, Tiffany Lyn, Deon Graveney, Sanya Malcolm, Winsome Atkinson, Shanalee Givans and Schamona Diah, achieved MDRT status in 2024 for selling a minimum of $8.6 million in insurance premiums.
Founded in 1927, Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) is the premier association of financial professionals globally with more than 72,000 members across 500 companies in 70 countries. People who achieve this status are in the top 10 per cent of financial advisors in their respective countries. Those who meet the criteria are required to do so ethically.
“For the first time in our history, two part-time advisers, despite having their full-time jobs elsewhere, qualified for the Million Dollar Roundtable. It tells the spirit of the team that we can triumph no matter the obstacle,” revealed Mr Othneil Blagrove, Chief, Sales and Marketing, JN Life Insurance.

Mr Blagrove was speaking at the JN Life Insurance Staff Awards at the Jamaica Pegasus on March 17 where a total of 31 brokers, part-time agents, sales advisors and employees were recognised for their hard work in helping JN Life achieve its targets in 2024.
The 2024 achievement follows on 2023’s milestone of nine persons receiving the designation.
“During the year, we lost three of our top performing agents through migration and resignations. That could have shaken us. Instead, it pushed us because the rest of the team stepped up and rose to the challenge. Due to this determination, we didn’t just meet expectations, we exceeded them,” he affirmed, while adding that the seven qualifiers will be attending the MDRT conference in Miami, Florida, in the United States of America in June.
Mr Blagrove said the year was not without obstacles but was proud his team was able to rise to the occasion.
“For the individual life business line, we surpassed our targets by 136 per cent. That speaks volumes about the dedication and service of our team members. For our Employee Benefits Division, we had a setback when we lost a major client. However, we adapted and rebounded which enabled us to end the year at 109 per cent of our targets,” he added.
Hugh Reid, Managing Director, JN Life Insurance thanked the JN Life Insurance team for their resilience and determination during 2024.
“I commend our team of sales advisers, brokers, agents and employees for achieving all that we did in 2025 despite the challenges that we faced during the year in the true spirit of the JN Group you found a way to rise above the obstacles that came up before us and we were able to do well in spite of it all. Thank you all, we could not have done it without you,” he affirmed.
